The 144,000 of Israel Sealed
“After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree.
Then I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, with the seal of the living GOD, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm earth and sea, saying,
” Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our GOD on their foreheads.”
And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel:
12,000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed,
12,ooo from the tribe of Reuben,
12,000 from the tribe of Asher,
12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali,
12,000from the tribe of Manasseh,
12,ooo of the tribe of Simeon,
12,000 from the tribe of Levi,
12,000 from the tribe of Issachar,
12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun,
12,000 from the trbe of Joseph,
12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin,
were sealed”

“Les 144 000 d’Israël scellés
Après cela, j’ai vu quatre anges debout aux quatre coins de la terre, retenant les quatre vents de la terre, afin qu’aucun vent ne souffle sur la terre ou la mer, ni sur aucun arbre.
Puis je vis un autre ange qui montait du cote du soleil levant portant le sceau du DIEU vivant. I cria d’une voix forte aux quatre anges à qui avait été donné le pouvoir de faire du mal à la terre et à la mer, en disant
” Ne touchez pas à la terre, à la mer ou aux arbres, jusqu’à ce que nous ayons scellé les serviteurs de notre DIEU sur leur front”.
Et j’entendis le nombre de ceux qui avaient ete marques du sceau, 144.000, de toutes les tribus des fils d’Israël :
12 000 de la tribu de Juda ont été marqués du sceau,
12,ooo de la tribu de Reuben,
12.000 de la tribu d’Asher,
12.000 de la tribu de Naphtali,
12 000 de la tribu de Manasseh,
12,ooo de la tribu de Siméon,
12.000 de la tribu de Levi,
12.000 de la tribu d’Issachar,
12 000 de la tribu de Zebulun,
12.000 de la tribu de Joseph,
12.000 de la tribu de Benjamin,
ont été marques du sceau.”
